Taylor and I would like to extend our deepest thanks to each and every one of you. Whether you contributed, spread the word, attended our #BUPubLastCall event, or all of the above - this achievement is yours to claim.
When the Pub reopens in 2018, you’ll be able to walk through the front door knowing that you had a hand in its transformation. (And be sure to make a stop upstairs to visit our new Alumni Center, also being unveiled next year!)
We will reach out over the next week with specifics to anyone who qualified for a prize.

Cheers to meeting 100% of our reach goal of $20,000, Terriers! We honestly cannot believe the outpouring of generosity and BU pride we’ve seen over the last three weeks. We did it - thanks to each and every one of you!
We’d like to thank everyone who attended our BU Pub “Sabbatical” Celebration earlier this month. We welcomed over 300 students, staff, alumni, and friends to the Pub to toast with us one last time before the renovations begin post-Commencement.
STILL TIME TO TOAST:
While we’ve hit our reach goal (You’re all incredible. Can we say it enough?!), there’s still time to get involved before our campaign concludes on 5/22.
We’ve maxed out entirely at the $100 level, but there are plenty of koozies and leather coasters up for grabs, along with chances to name a beer flight, sandwich, or choose a seasonal beer for the Knight’s Quest. Donors at the $1,000 level will receive an exclusive invite to the Grand (re)Opening event at the renovated Pub in 2018.

It's #BUPubLastCall!
Won’t you toast with us tonight? It’s our #BUPubLastCall - aka the BU Pub “Sabbatical” Celebration. This is the final event we’re hosting at the Pub before it closes for a year of renovations. If you’re local, we’d love to see you there.
Students can register here for our 4-7 PM reception, and all others (including alumni) are welcome to RSVP for tonight’s 6-9 PM event. Attendees will receive a commemorative token from the Pub, along with a drink ticket and delicious bar bites. Even Rhett will be joining in the celebration!
Announcing New Prizes:
As of today, we’re about 75% to goal - we’ve made unbelievable progress in just ten days. To keep this momentum going, we’re introducing two new prize levels.
$20.17 Level - Celebrate this year’s graduating class with a commemorative “2017” gift and receive a set of BU Pub koozies to keep your drinks chilled in style!
$250 Level - The first eight donors to give $250 will get to select a rotating beer to be featured in the Knight’s Quest challenge!

Four Days In!
Wow! We already surpassed our original goal – and in only four days! You’re all incredible. Let’s raise the stakes and see what else we can do to renovate our beloved Pub.
But first, to introduce ourselves: We are Taylor Riley (SHA’11, Questrom’11) and D.A. Whatley (Questrom’15), your project co-leads. From our time as students to our lives as alumni, we both made countless memories at the BU Pub. We’re honored to have a hand in raising funds to help renovate this campus landmark.
A HUGE thank you to all of our supporters! We couldn’t do this without you. Continue to help by sharing the project with friends & family on social, email, text, or in person (over a frosty beer) this weekend.
To meet our goal, we still need dozens more Terriers to contribute. We’re encouraging everyone to consider giving at any level, whether for a Grand Opening Event invite, for a chance to name a beer flight or sandwich, or a pair of BU Pub branded beer steins.
As a special thank you, we’re inviting all of our supporters to an exclusive event on Thursday, May 4th – the BU Pub “Sabbatical” Celebration – our very last event before the Pub closes for a year of renovations. Some inside info: At the event, not only will we have food, drinks, and giveaways… We’ll also be unveiling draft renderings of the planned Pub renovations.
